at some point I need to put down in writing the whole upheaval that happened recently, but suffice to say the fallout from the divorce is still on-going.
I did my best not to burn any bridges but every interaction just feels bad. I guess that's to be expected? I don't know. Hopefully the housemates get back to me about selling the house soon and I can put this whole decade behind me.

dnd got cancelled again this week, but I guess I'm grateful for the opportunity to just go home and lie down. six work days straight during inventory week... brutal.
I'm pretty happy with the site layout, I think! maybe some tweaking still to do but mostly i like it. I should probably make another pinned post to talk about my interests or an about page or something, but.

I had to run home from work today because my ex decided to leave the house without giving me any indication at all as to when he'd be back, leaving the dog crated for the better part of the day. I'm frustrated, but more than that I'm disappointed. The breakdown of communication over something as simple as caring for our pets is really telling, I think.
I've been trying to get caught up on Dungeons of Drakkenheim, but it turns out being broken up with does kind of a number on your ability to focus on things. Same issue with Band Sinister, a book I was really enjoying. I just don't know how to sit down and focus on anything long enough to make it through anything.
